Koori

The Koori vase, designed by Emmanuel Babled for VENINI in 2007, is inspired by the natural, crystalline formations of ice. Its sculptural form, with soft faceted surfaces and a sense of suspended motion, evokes the organic unpredictability of frozen landscapes.

Handcrafted in Murano using Incalmo and Sommerso techniques, Koori is a testament to the mastery of VENINI’s glassmakers and their ability to transform fluid matter into geometric beauty. The name “Koori,” meaning “ice” in Japanese, highlights the global influences behind this uniquely Venetian creation.
