Its name says everything. The flowing, ghost-like silhouette of the Fantasmino is shaped entirely by hand on the island of Murano, Venice — breath by breath, on the end of a glassblower's pipe. No machines. Just over a century of inherited craft by Venini, one of Italy's most storied glassmaking houses, founded in 1921.
Inspired by Venini's iconic Fazzoletto vase of 1948, the Fantasmino brings the ancient Opalino glassblowing technique into the present. When lit, it casts a warm, enveloping glow that transforms any surface it touches.

The transparent coloured glass is handblown and decorated at the base by a sword-shaped foot, applied hot free-hand with the addition of gold leaf.
The model is enriched by the cold processing technique that characterises the surface texture, known as Satin.
